Salon Treatments Intensive Level 2

The Salon Treatments Intensive Level 2 course is designed to equip individuals with fundamental skills and knowledge required for a career in the beauty industry. Covering a wide range of salon treatments, this intensive course offers comprehensive training modules aimed at providing you with practical experience and theoretical understanding. You will learn essential techniques for delivering professional salon services, preparing you for entry-level roles in beauty salons and spa establishments where you will enjoy offering a wide range of treatments across the beauty, holistic and nail industry services.

We concentrate on the practical delivery of the treatments modules during class.  You will also gain an exceptional understanding of the theory behind each treatment module both in class and via our online training portal.

• Manicure
  • Nail shaping, cuticle care and polish application for hands.
• Pedicure
  • Nail shaping, cuticle care, exfoliation and massage for feet.
• UV gel polish
  • Application of gel polish that cures under UV light for long-lasting colour.
• Gel De Bon sculpted nail extensions
  • Application of nail extensions using gel and sculpting techniques.
• Crystal toes
  • Embellishing toenails with crystals and nail art.
• Facial therapy
  • Cleansing, exfoliation, extraction, massage and mask application for facial skin.
• Inch loss body wrap
  • Body treatment aiming to reduce inches through detoxification and compression.
• Lash & brow tint & shape
  • Tinting and shaping of eyelashes and eyebrows for enhanced definition.
• Lash lift
  • Perming and lifting natural lashes for a curled effect.
• Classic lash extensions
  • Application of individual synthetic lashes onto natural lashes for length and volume.
• Cosmetic spray tanning
  • Application of spray tan for a sun-kissed glow.
• Full body waxing
  • Removal of unwanted hair from various body parts using wax.
• Non surgical face lift massage
  • Facial massage techniques to improve skin tone and firmness.
• Hopi ear candle massage
  • Ear candling technique for ear hygiene and relaxation.
• Indian head massage
  • Massage focusing on the head, neck, and shoulders to relieve tension.
• Thai hand, leg and foot massage
  • Traditional Thai massage techniques applied to the hands, legs and feet.
• Anatomy & physiology
  • Study of the structure and function of the human body.
• COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) - CPD module
  • Understanding and implementation of regulations for hazardous substances.
• Data protection (GDPR) - CPD module
  • Compliance with data protection laws and regulations.
• First aid - CPD module
  • Training in basic first aid procedures and emergency response.

Additional information

We have put together the best product kits for you to train with and use on clients. This means that you won't be needing to buy your student kits and then spend more to upgrade them for use on clients. We use natural, exceptional quality products from a number of different brands, including our signature 'Vicki Clarke Cosmetics' Range.  You will be training with our materials and products within the classroom, so purchase of the kit is an optional extra.
