This course is suitable for beginners or for those who have already achieved Level 2 Beauty Therapy.

The VTCT Level 3 Beauty Therapy Course covers the following;

• G22 Monitor procedures to safely control work operations

Learn the essential aspects of maintaining a safe and efficient working environment within the beauty industry. Understand the significance of adhering to industry-standard procedures and protocols to ensure the well-being of both clients and practitioners, including workplace policies, potential risks and hazards, health and safety and hygiene, and how to monitor and control work operations safely in a beauty therapy setting.

• H32 Contribute to the planning and implementation of promotional activities

This unit is about developing the skills required to work with others and take responsibility for planning promotional activities. You will carry out demonstrations, participate in advertising campaigns and create promotional displays, for promoting beauty products, services, and businesses, encompassing both traditional and digital marketing channels. Understand how effective marketing strategies can positively impact business growth and client acquisition

• B20 Provide body massage treatments

You will learn the skills to perform a full body massage whilst adapting your techniques to suit clients needs. Learn with hands-on experience in mastering a range of massage techniques. You will learn how to adapt these techniques with a client-centric approach to address specific client requirements and preferences.

• B23 Provide Indian Head Massage

You will gain the knowledge and practical skills in the art of traditional Indian head massage techniques, using Chakras and Marma points, how to select appropriate oils to help improve the condition of the hair and scalp, relieve stress and tension. You will not only have acquired the technical expertise to perform Indian head massage but will also appreciate the cultural context and holistic principles that underpin this ancient therapeutic practice.

• B24 Carry out massage using pre-blended aromatherapy oils

You will learn how to perform an aromatherapy routine for the body, face and scalp plus how to select the blends most suitable for the clients skin type and treatment.  You will gain an understanding of the therapeutic properties of essential oils and their impact on the body and mind, factors such as relaxation, stress relief, and mood enhancement.. Practical sessions will provide hands-on experience in selecting, blending, and applying pre-blended aromatherapy oils to enhance the massage experience for clients.

• B28 Provide stone therapy treatments

You will learn about the history and ancient cultures that make this treatment more effective than manual massage alone. You will gain the skills and knowledge required to proficiently administer hot stone therapy treatments, and learn the therapeutic application of heated stones in massage practices, offering a holistic approach to beauty therapy.

• B14 Provide facial electrical treatments

The Facial Electrical Treatments unit is designed to equip students with advanced skills and knowledge in utilising electrical devices for facial skincare. This module focuses on the application of cutting-edge technologies and techniques for treatments such as, Vacuum Suction, Microdermabrasion, Microcurrent, Direct High Frequency, Galvanic, and Faradic.
