Lash Lift (1:1)

Lash lifting treatments are aimed at those who desire long lasting, natural looking eyelash enhancement without the need for mascara or lash extensions. The results last approximately 6-8 weeks and once your client has tried these treatments, they will return regularly to maintain the enhanced appearance of their natural eyelashes. Very popular salon/industry treatment; a beautiful lift and tint of the customers lashes. By incorporating a tint the lashes will also appear darker creating overall definition to the eye. Lash lift treatments are ideal for clients who dislike eye makeup, are allergic or find it irritating. 

Course structure

You will be provided with pre course reading which will cover basic anatomy and physiology and health and safety. This will be recapped in your session.

This course is covered in one practical training day. You will learn the theory of the treatment as well as carry out practical assessments on live models. 

A practical assessment is carried out using a model which allows the maximum time during the training to work upon acquiring and demonstrating the required technique. We recommend bringing your own model or if you can’t; let the Academy know at least 48 hours before your course and the Academy can support with finding you a model for a £10 admin fee.

• Health and Safety: 
  • Prioritise safety with in-depth training on salon hygiene, sanitation protocols and health regulations to ensure a clean and secure environment for both technicians and clients.
• Client Preparation: 
  • Learn the importance of preparing clients for the procedure, including assessing their needs, discussing expectations and addressing any concerns to ensure a smooth and satisfying experience.
• Product Information and Usage Guidance: 
  • Familiarise yourself with the tools, products and techniques essential for executing flawless lash lifts. Gain hands-on experience with various lifting solutions and tinting products, mastering their application for optimal results.
• Contra-actions and Contraindications: 
  • Understand the potential adverse reactions and contraindications associated with lash lifts, empowering you to identify and address any concerns or risks to ensure client safety and satisfaction.
• Consultation Skills: 
  • Hone your communication skills to conduct thorough consultations, discussing clients' goals, preferences and medical history to tailor the treatment to their individual needs effectively
• Eye and Eyelash Anatomy: 
  • Delve into the anatomy of the eye and eyelashes, understanding their structure, growth cycle and how various factors influence lash health and appearance.
• Procedural Steps for Lash Lift and Eyelash Tinting: 
  • Master the step-by-step process of performing a professional lash lift and eyelash tinting, from preparing the client to applying solutions and tinting agents with precision and care, following industry best practices for optimal results.
• Aftercare Advice: 
  • Equip yourself with comprehensive aftercare knowledge to educate clients on how to maintain and prolong the effects of their lash lift, including proper cleansing, avoiding water exposure and recommended products for nourishing and protecting lashes post-treatment.

With this comprehensive training, you'll emerge as a skilled lash lift technician, capable of delivering stunning results while prioritising the safety and satisfaction of your clients.

Additional information

We do not include any kits with our training course offers. However we will provide any equipment required to complete the practical training on the day. We like to encourage you to find brands, products and tools that suit you. Your tutor will be able to support you with products and tools advice on the day, and you can also refer to your course manual for this information. 

Upon completion of the Lash Lift course you will receive an accredited qualification and with this you will also be able to obtain insurance. We recommend you check that your insurance company insures the treatment and whether that will incur any additional costs to you before purchasing this course.

You are covered under our insurance policy on the day of your training, however as soon as you are off site you will be required to have your own insurance. If you are a new student you can obtain a student only policy (usually around £20 a year) until you are charging for treatments. If you already have insurance please ensure you contact your insurance company to add your new service to your policy. Insurance is YOUR responsibility.
