Weft Hair Extensions (Group training)
Weft hair extensions are long strips of hair that are sewn or bonded together at the top to create a flat, horizontal piece. They are typically applied by sewing, braiding or using adhesive to attach them to the natural hair. Weft extensions add volume, length and thickness to the hair, providing a natural-looking and versatile option for hair enhancement.
You'll delve into the intricacies of applying weft hair extensions with precision and expertise. Learn the latest techniques for seamless integration, blending and maintenance. Whether you're a seasoned stylist or new to the field, this course offers comprehensive training to enhance your skills and provide clients with voluminous, natural-looking hair transformations.
Course structure
You will be provided with pre-course reading which will cover basic anatomy and physiology, and health and safety. This will be recapped in your session.
This course is delivered to you in one practical training day. During this time, you will learn the theory of the treatment as well as carrying out practical assessments on a dolls head.
A practical assessment is carried out using a model allowing you the maximum time during the training to work upon acquiring and demonstrating the required technique. We recommend bringing your own model. If you can’t, let the Academy know at least 48 hours before your course. The Academy can support with finding you a model for a £10 admin fee.
