Course Structure 

Day 1 Induction and health & safety

Day 2 – 7 All practical's to be carried out

Home study completing assignments and case studies. Upon completion of these we usually give 3 months to get these completed, you would attend a further 4 days to complete all your assessments and get your portfolio signed off.

Course Content

You will be taught the skills required on your beauty course at Chic Aesthetics & Beauty Academy by our qualified NVQ trainers at one of our training centres. There will be theory lessons as well as practical lessons. You will be producing a portfolio as you go along showcasing photographs, practical assessment, written assignments, oral questions and answers. Home study will be set to help reinforce classroom learning. With the practical lessons students will be working with each other as well as real clients so you can be assessed in a real environment.

• Waxing

• Facials

Dive into the world of skincare with our facials unit, where you'll learn to analyse skin types, perform cleansing routines and deliver rejuvenating treatments tailored to individual needs.

• Manicure

Perfect the art of nail care, from shaping and filing to cuticle maintenance and polish application, leaving your clients' hands looking polished and elegant.

• Pedicure

Learn to treat your clients to the ultimate foot pampering experience, mastering techniques for exfoliation, callus removal, nail grooming and relaxing massage.

• Eye Treatments (Lash & Brow Tinting, Strip Lashes, Cluster Lashes)

Understand how to enhance your clients' natural beauty with precision tinting for lashes and brows, and expertly apply strip and cluster lashes for stunning eye transformations.

• Makeup (Day, Evening and Special Occasion)

Learn the secrets of makeup artistry, from creating fresh daytime looks to glamorous evening styles and striking special occasion makeup that leaves a lasting impression.

• Reception Duties

Gain essential skills in customer service, appointment scheduling, telephone etiquette and salon management, ensuring smooth operations and excellent client experiences.
