Level 3 Fashion & Photographic Makeup

Our academies offer a Level 3 Fashion and Photographic Make-Up course that will enable you to become a qualified Makeup artist after completing our course. Our courses are ran by fully trained and qualified tutors who are eager and passionate to train up and prepare our students for the real working environment.

When will it run?

Day 1 Induction and health & safety

Day 2 – 4  All practical's to be carried out

Home study completing assignments and case studies. Upon completion of these we usually give 6 weeks to get these completed, you would attend a further 2 days to complete all your assessments and get your portfolio signed off.

You will be taught the skills required on your makeup course at Chic Aesthetics & Beauty Academy by our qualified NVQ trainers at one of our training centres. There will be theory lessons as well as practical lessons. You will be producing a portfolio as you go along showcasing photographs, practical assessment, written assignments, oral questions and answers. Home study will be set to help reinforce classroom learning. With the practical lessons you will be working with other students as well as real clients so you can be assessed in a real environment.

Bridal makeup:

Period makeup: 

• Explore historical makeup trends and techniques, mastering the art of recreating vintage and period-specific looks.

Fantasy makeup: 

• Unleash your creativity with imaginative and artistic makeup designs, perfect for theatrical performances, themed events or fantasy photoshoots.

Catwalk and high fashion makeup: 

• Dive into the world of runway and fashion editorial makeup, mastering techniques to accentuate features and complement avant-garde fashion styles.

Photographic makeup: 

• Develop skills in creating flawless and camera-ready makeup looks, suitable for professional photoshoots and editorial work, ensuring models look their best under various lighting conditions.
