This First Aid at Work is a regulated and nationally recognised course, specifically designed for those who are appointed to act as a first aider in their workplace. It is ideal for a variety of workplaces; from high-risk construction sites to those employing people with disabilities and medical conditions, equipping you with the knowledge and abilities to confidently react to a medical emergency in the workplace.
Who Should attend?
During this course, you will be equipped with the knowledge, skills and confidence to handle a wide range of emergency situations – from minor injuries to life-threatening conditions. You will be able to correctly administer treatment swiftly and decisively during a crucial emergency moment where every second counts.
This is the most common workplace First Aid course as it covers the most common life-threatening scenarios.
Anyone over the age of 16 who may need first aid skills.

Assessment & certification
Certification is dependent on successful continuous practical assessment and a multiple choice test. Once you have completed and met the requirements you will be issued with a certificate that is valid for three years. Under the current guidelines, it is strongly recommended that first aid trained staff attend a half-day update every twelve months.

Approved by the First Aid Industry Body (FAIB) 40/21 (866) 3rd Party Certification via a United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS) Accredited Certification Body

Please be aware you will be required to perform a physical activity, if you are not able to bend down on hands and knees please let us know.

Who is this listing for?
Those who are aged 16 or over and need to be First Aiders in the workplace. Once qualified, holders of this First Aid at Work certificate can be used as First Aiders in the workplace in accordance with the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974.
