Streetworks Reassessments - 2 Days

This NRSWA course is for operatives/supervisors who work on highways and carry out excavation, back fill and reinstatement using tarmac and cold-lay bituminous materials. This is one refresher training day and one day for your tests.

NRSWA Operatives Units:
Unit 1: Location & avoidance of underground apparatus.
Unit 2: Signing, lighting & guarding.
Unit 3: Excavation in the highway.
Unit 4: Reinstatement and compaction of back fill materials.
Unit 5: Reinstatement of sub-base and road-base in non-bituminous materials.
Unit 6: Reinstatement in cold-lay bituminous materials.
Unit 9: Reinstatement of modular surfaces and concrete foot ways.

NRSWA Supervisors Units:
Unit 1: Location & avoidance of underground apparatus.
Unit 10: Monitoring signing, lighting & guarding.
Unit 11: Monitoring excavation in the highway.
Unit 12: Monitoring reinstatement and compaction of back fill materials.
Unit 13: Monitoring reinstatement of sub-base & road-base in non-bituminous materials.
Unit 14: Monitoring reinstatement in bituminous materials.
Unit 16: Monitoring reinstatement of modular surfaces and concrete foot ways.

NRSWA Streetworks Certification
Delegates successfully completing the course will receive a certificate from CABWI . This certificate is valid for 5 years.

You can renew your card by undertaking a re-assessment at a centre up to five years after the card expiration date. Please note even though you can re-assess during this period, your card will not be valid until you have been certificated and your new card issued by SWQR

Delegates must advise when their current card expired / is due to expire- the expiry date will dictate if they are eligible to complete the re-assessments or if they will need to attend the full course again. The NRSWA Full Award can be found here.

Companies may also book their employees courses at their employer’s address if there is suitable facilitates to conduct the training.
