Our Dermal Filler Masterclass in Lips course is a training program that teaches you how to perform advanced lip filler treatments using different techniques and products. It is designed for medical and non-medical professionals who have some experience in basic filler procedures and want to enhance their skills and knowledge in lip augmentation.

Some of the topics that are covered in this course are:

• The psychology, anatomy and aesthetics of the lips
• The selection and use of different types of dermal fillers for lip enhancement
• The advantages and disadvantages of using a cannula or needle.
• The various techniques for creating volume, definition and shape of the lips, such as tenting, linear, Russian, and signature lips.

Signature lip technique is a term used by some aesthetic practitioners to describe their method of performing lip filler treatments. It usually involves injecting hyaluronic acid into the lips to create volume, shape, and symmetry, while avoiding a duck-like appearance. The signature lip technique may vary depending on the practitioner’s skills, experience and preferences.

Russian lip technique is a way of injecting dermal filler into the lips to create a heart-shaped, lifted and defined look.

Course Content

• Health and Safety: 

Ensuring health and safety standards are paramount in any cosmetic procedure. This part of the course covers infection control, sterilisation procedures and emergency protocols to ensure a safe environment for both practitioners and clients.

• Consultation, Medical and Consent: 

A thorough consultation is vital to understand clients' needs, medical history, and expectations. Medical considerations, such as allergies and existing medical conditions, are discussed. Obtaining informed consent ensures clients understand the procedure and its potential risks.

• Product Knowledge: 

Understanding different types of lip fillers, their compositions and how they interact with the body is crucial. You will learn about various brands, their properties, longevity and suitability for different lip enhancement techniques.

• Practical – Signature & Russian Techniques: 

The practical segment of the course focuses on hands-on training in lip augmentation techniques. You will learn both Signature (traditional) and Russian (advanced) techniques, including lip anatomy, injection methods, filler placement and achieving desired outcomes. This hands-on experience allows trainees to refine their skills under supervision and gain confidence in performing lip filler procedures effectively and safely.
