These aesthetic courses with Leanne Powers Aesthetics and Beauty Consultancy will be a perfect addition to your prior learning and experience which will enable you to jump straight onto the amazing world of aesthetics. With experience, time and further knowledge, it can also allow you onto the regulated levels 4, 5 and 7 in the aesthetic practice.

Our blended courses are designed for our learners to complete the theory online in the privacy of their own homes, sit a brief test and then come along to our practical sessions. We will have the first hour for any questions then it’s a full-on practical session with live models.

Covered in this course are  Vitamins B12, C, D, Biotin, Botulinum Toxin and Dermal Fillers with Hyaluronidase. Basic life support with Anaphylaxis and complications.

You will read and answer questions on each treatment named above. Once gained over 70% you will attend your chosen practical consecutive days. Practical days are as follows,

Day 1 – Vitamins B12, C, D, Biotin / Botulinum Toxin

Day 2 – Dermal Fillers

• Vitamin B12, C, D, Biotin: 

This section delves into the essential vitamins B12, C, D, and Biotin, exploring their functions, sources and benefits for overall health and aesthetic enhancement.

• Health and Safety: 

You will be instructed on the crucial health and safety protocols required for aesthetic procedures, including sanitation, sterilisation and infection control measures to ensure a safe practice environment.

• Consultation, Medical and Consent Requirements: 

Understanding the consultation process, medical history assessment and obtaining informed consent from clients are fundamental aspects covered in this module to ensure ethical and legal compliance.

• Contra-indications and Contra-actions: 

You will learn to identify contra-indications and potential adverse reactions, enabling them to assess client suitability for aesthetic treatments and manage complications effectively.

• Pre-Care and Aftercare: 

Proper pre-care and aftercare instructions are essential for optimal treatment outcomes and client satisfaction. This module focuses on educating you on pre treatment preparation and post treatment care protocols.

• Product Knowledge: 

A comprehensive understanding of the products used in aesthetic procedures is essential. You will gain insights into various skincare products, their ingredients and their specific applications.

• Dermal Fillers: 

This module provides in-depth knowledge of dermal fillers, including their types, indications, injection techniques and potential risks, empowering you to administer safe and effective treatments.

• Botulinum Toxin: 

You  will explore the uses, mechanisms of action, dosage guidelines, injection techniques and possible complications associated with botulinum toxin injections, ensuring competent practice in aesthetic medicine.

• Insurance: 

Understanding insurance coverage and liabilities is vital for aesthetic practitioners. This section covers the types of insurance needed, policy considerations and risk management strategies.

• Prescriber: 

You will learn about the role of prescribers in aesthetic practice, including legal requirements, collaborative relationships and the importance of clear communication for safe and effective treatment delivery.

Models will be arranged throughout the days, where you will complete several models and you may have to work on each other.
