Vitamin Injections

This course is designed for those who wish to provide their clients with a complete vitamin injection service. You will learn how to identify the symptoms of low vitamin levels, the advantages of vitamin shots, the optimal frequency and locations for injections and how to perform them safely in your practice. Vitamins are essential for our health and well-being but we may not always get enough of them from natural sources. That’s why sometimes we need to supplement them with injections. This is the ideal course for you!

Our blended courses are designed for our learners to complete the theory online in the privacy of their own homes, sit a brief test and then come along to your chosen practical session. We will have 30 minutes for any questions then it’s a full-on practical session with live models. Over 70% is required to pass the test before you can proceed to the practical session.  36 hrs’ notice is required between passing the test and attending the next practical date.

Course content

Theory on Vitamin Injections:

• Explore the functions and importance of Vitamin B12, C, D, and Biotin (H) in the body.
• Understand how each vitamin contributes to overall health and well-being.

Benefits of Each Vitamin:

• Vitamin B12: Boosts energy levels, supports nerve function and aids in red blood cell production.
• Vitamin C: Enhances immune function, promotes collagen production and acts as an antioxidant.
• Vitamin D: Regulates calcium absorption, supports bone health and boosts mood.
• Biotin (Vitamin H): Supports healthy hair, skin and nails and aids in metabolism.

Contra-indications:

• Identify conditions or situations where vitamin injections may not be suitable, such as allergies or certain medical conditions.

Pre-care and Aftercare:

• Learn how to prepare clients for vitamin injections and provide guidance on post injection care to optimise results and minimise discomfort.

Deficiencies:

• Understand common signs and symptoms of vitamin deficiencies and how vitamin injections can help address these deficiencies effectively.

Practical:

• Gain hands-on experience in administering vitamin injections under the guidance of experienced instructors.
• Practice proper injection techniques and ensure safety protocols are followed throughout the process.
