25 Week Advanced Nail Artist Course

The advanced nail technician course is delivered by Celebrity Nail Artist and Brillbird Educator Sarah Evans designed to up your nail game like never before! The course is constantly updated to ensure students receive training on the most recent and innovative techniques. 

We focus everything on you to ensure you leave with the knowledge and skills to becoming a professional nail technician. Our nail courses are designed to ease your nerves, build confidence and get you on the path to a successful career in nails. Becoming a professionally qualified nail technician will allow you to have a job you love and enjoy no matter whether you decide to work in a salon or open your own nail business. 

Course structure

Throughout and following the training, you will be required to do assessments and to submit case studies to show that you have retained and practiced the training. Your certifications will be awarded to you once you have successfully passed those. As any learning experience, you will only get as good as the effort you put in and we will be behind you to help you get the best out of yourself! You will gain 6 qualifications accredited by ABT.

Course content

• Foundation nail art:
  • Basics of nail art techniques like fine line, bows and flowers.
  • Introduction to nail art tools and materials.
• Level 2 hand painting:
  • Advanced hand painting techniques such as design layout and blending.
  • Practice sessions for achieving intricate designs.
• Disney character painting:
  • Learning to recreate popular Disney characters on nails.
  • Techniques for capturing character features accurately.
• Sculpting:
  • Introduction to nail sculpting using acrylic or gel.
  • Practice in creating extensions and enhancements.
• Salon shapes:
  • Understanding different nail shapes like square, oval, almond, etc.
  • Techniques for shaping nails according to client preferences.
• Perfect smile lines:
  • Achieving flawless smile lines in French manicures.
  • Techniques for creating consistent and precise curves.
• C-curve:
  • Understanding the importance of the C-curve in nail enhancements.
  • Techniques for achieving and maintaining the ideal C-curve.
• Future gel/Polygel:
  • Introduction to innovative gel and polygel products.
  • Practice in applying and shaping gel or polygel extensions.
• E-file:
  • Proper handling and usage of electric nail files (e-files).
  • Techniques for safe and effective filing during nail services.
• Service pricing:
  • Understanding pricing strategies for nail services.
  • Factors to consider when determining service prices.
• Photography skills:
  • Tips for capturing high-quality images of nail art.
  • Editing techniques to enhance nail photos for social media.
• Business and social media skills:
  • Basics of running a nail art business, including marketing and branding.
  • Utilising social media platforms for promoting nail services and attracting clients.

Additional information

During the weeks we are doing structure or E file some weeks you can work on yourself but other weeks you will need a model, nail art will be on tips.
