7 Week Salon Nail Art Course

The 7 Week Salon Nail Art Course is delivered by Celebrity Nail Artist and Brillbird Educator Sarah Evans giving you the most complete introduction to nail art and provide you with the best tools to start being a Nail Artist. The course is constantly updated to ensure you will receive training on the most recent and innovative nail art application techniques. 

We focus everything on you to ensure you leave with the knowledge and skills to becoming a professional nail technician. Our nail courses are designed to ease your nerves, build confidence and get you on the path to a successful career in nails. Becoming a professionally qualified nail technician will allow you to have a job you love and enjoy no matter whether you decide to work in a salon or open your own nail business. 

Course structure

The course is 7 lessons in class, after passing each units assessment in class you will complete case studies at home and have lifetime support and feedback.

Throughout and following the training, you will be required to do assessments and to submit pictures of the designs we have covered to show that you have retained and practiced the training. Your certifications will be awarded to you once you have successfully passed those. As any learning experience, you will only get as good as the effort you put in and we will be behind you to help you get the best out of yourself! You will gain 3 qualifications accredited by ABT.

Course content

Week 1-2: Fineline/ Butterflies, bows, flowers

• Introduction to basic nail art designs like fine lines, butterflies, bows, and flowers.
• Practice sessions focusing on precision and control of nail art brushes.
• Learning different techniques for creating intricate details and patterns.

Week 3: Creating backgrounds and composition/ chrome, pigment and decal application

• Exploring techniques for creating backgrounds and compositions for nail art.
• Introduction to chrome, pigment and decal application methods.
• Understanding how to combine different elements to create cohesive nail art designs.

Week 4 & 5: One Stroke

• Comprehensive training in the one stroke technique for nail art.
• Learning how to create vibrant and detailed designs using a single brushstroke.
• Practice sessions to master the blending of colours and the execution of various one stroke designs.

Week 6 & 7: 3D Designs

• Introduction to 3D nail art designs using acrylic or gel.
• Learning how to sculpt and create three-dimensional elements like flowers, bows and embellishments.
• Practice sessions focusing on precision and detailing in 3D nail art creation.
