9 Week Hand Painting Course

The 9 Week Hand Painting Nail Art course is delivered by Celebrity Nail Artist and Brillbird Educator Sarah Evans giving you the most complete introduction to nail art and providing them with the best tools to start being a Nail Artist. The course is constantly updated to ensure students receive training on the most recent and innovative nail art application techniques. 

We focus everything on you to ensure you leave with the knowledge and skills to becoming a professional nail technician. Our nail courses are designed to ease your nerves, build confidence and get you on the path to a successful career in nails. Becoming a professionally qualified nail technician will allow you to have a job you love and enjoy no matter whether you decide to work in a salon or open your own nail business. 

Course structure

The course is 9 lessons in class, after passing each units assessment in class you will complete case studies at home and have lifetime support and feedback.

Throughout and following the training, you will be required to do assessments and to submit 6 case studies to show that you have retained and practiced the training. Your certifications will be awarded to you once you have successfully passed those. As any learning experience, you will only get as good as the effort you put in and we will be behind you to help you get the best out of yourself! You will gain 3 qualifications accredited by ABT.

Course content

• Week 1-3: 
  • You will focus on mastering brush control and creating fine lines, as well as painting basic motifs like butterflies, bows and flowers. Nail art fine lines involve creating delicate and precise lines on nails using thin brushes or nail art pens. These lines can be used to outline designs, create intricate patterns or add detailing to nail art designs. It requires steady hands and good control over the brush to achieve clean and sharp lines.
• Week 4-6: 
  • This phase delves into Level 2 hand painting techniques, including design layout, blending colours and adding shadows to create depth and dimension. Offering nail art services sets your business apart from competitors, attracting clients seeking unique and customised designs. There is a growing demand for nail art services, especially among younger demographics and trend-conscious consumers. 
• Week 7-9: 
  • You will advance to character painting, where they learn to paint intricate designs such as cartoon characters, animals and other figurative elements with precision and detail. Clients can customise their nails to reflect their personality, interests or events like holidays or special occasions. Offering character nail painting services can attract clients seeking unique and eye-catching designs, leading to increased customer satisfaction and loyalty.
