Eyelash and Eyebrow Tinting and Waxing

Eyelash and eyebrow tinting and waxing is a beauty treatment that involves tinting the lashes and brows to enhance their colour and definition. Additionally, waxing is used to shape the eyebrows, removing unwanted hair for a clean and defined look. This treatment helps clients achieve a more polished appearance and can enhance their overall facial features.

Course structure

The course is 1 lesson in class followed by case studies completed at home with lifetime support and feedback.

Following the training, you will be required to submit 6 case studies to show that you have retained and practiced the training. Your certification which is fully accredited with ABT will be awarded to you once you have successfully passed those. As any learning experience, you will only get as good as the effort you put in and we will be behind you to help you get the best out of yourself!

Course content

Lash tinting:

• Application of tint to eyelashes to darken and enhance their appearance.

Brow tinting:

• Applying tint to eyebrows to darken and define them.

Brow mapping:

• Technique for determining the ideal shape and placement of eyebrows based on facial features.

Anatomy & Physiology:

• Understanding the structure and function of the skin and hair.

Strip wax:

• Using pre-made wax strips for hair removal.

Hot wax:

• Application of heated wax directly to the skin for hair removal.

Contraindications:

• Factors that make a client unsuitable for treatment.

Contra-actions:

• Adverse reactions that may occur during or after treatment.

Aftercare:

• Instructions and recommendations provided to clients post-treatment.

Practical:

• Hands-on application and practice of techniques learned.

Additional information

All students will be required to work on & bring along a model. Models can be provided for a £25 fee.

Students are required to purchase a kit for the course.
