Luxury Manicure and Pedicure

The luxury manicure and pedicure course offers an elevated experience in nail care and pampering. You will learn advanced techniques for nail shaping, cuticle care, exfoliation and moisturising treatments using high quality products. The course also covers additional indulgent treatments such as hand and foot masks, paraffin wax treatments and relaxing massage techniques. You will gain expertise in delivering luxurious manicure and pedicure services tailored to the client's needs, ensuring a truly rejuvenating experience.

We focus everything on you to ensure you leave with the knowledge and skills to becoming a professional nail technician. Our nail courses are designed to ease your nerves, build confidence and get you on the path to a successful career in nails. Becoming a professionally qualified nail technician will allow you to have a job you love and enjoy no matter whether you decide to work in a salon or open your own nail business. Course structure

Week 1-5: At home online theory (The Essential Nail Professional Diploma)

Week 6-10: In class luxury manicure/pedicure

Week 11: Manicure and pedicure exam

Following the training, you will be required to do an assessment and to submit 8 case studies to show that you have retained and practiced the training. Your fully ABT accredited certification will be awarded to you once you have successfully passed those. As any learning experience, you will only get as good as the effort you put in and we will be behind you to help you get the best out of yourself! 

Course content

Health & safety:

• Understand salon hygiene practices and safety regulations.
• Learn to maintain a clean and safe working environment.

The structure of the natural nail:

• Study the anatomy of the nail, including its layers and composition.
• Gain knowledge of nail growth patterns and common nail conditions.

Anatomy and physiology:

• Explore the structure and function of the skin, muscles and bones.
• Understand how these systems relate to nail health and care.

Client consultation:

• Develop communication skills for assessing client needs and preferences.
• Learn to identify any medical conditions or allergies that may affect treatment.

Contra-indications:

• Understand conditions that may prevent or restrict nail treatments.
• Learn how to identify and manage contra-indications safely.

Cuticle work:

• Master techniques for cuticle removal and maintenance.
• Ensure gentle and precise cuticle care to promote nail health.

Filing techniques:

• Learn different nail shaping methods, including square, round and oval.
• Practice filing techniques to achieve desired nail shapes and lengths.

Arm and hand massage:

• Learn massage techniques to relax and rejuvenate the arms and hands.
• Understand the benefits of massage for circulation and stress relief.

Leg and foot massage:

• Explore massage techniques for relaxing the legs and feet.
• Understand the importance of foot massage for promoting circulation and reducing tension.

Luxury manicure techniques:

• Master advanced manicure techniques, including exfoliation and mask treatments.
• Learn to provide indulgent hand and nail care for a luxurious experience.

Luxury pedicure techniques:

• Develop skills in exfoliation, mask application and massage for the feet and lower legs.
• Provide clients with a pampering pedicure experience.

Heat treatments:

• Explore the use of heat therapy for relaxing and softening the skin.
• Learn to incorporate heat treatments such as warm towels or mitts into manicure and pedicure services.

Paraffin wax treatments:

• Understand the benefits of paraffin wax for moisturising and softening the skin.
• Learn to perform paraffin wax treatments for luxurious hand and foot care.

Polish techniques:

• Master nail polish application techniques for a flawless finish.
• Learn to create various nail art designs and patterns for added elegance.

Additional information

In order to deliver the highest quality training and for you receive the attention and support you need there is a maximum of 7 students per class. 

All students will be required to work on & bring along a model please ensure all models nails are fully free of product. A model will not be required for every week and you will be notified which weeks they are required. 

THE ESSENTIAL NAIL PROFESSIONAL DIPLOMA
The Essential Nail Professional Diploma has been created by Marian Newman BEM (Nail Expert), Doug Schoon (Internationally recognised scientist), and Vitaly Solomonoff (Dermatologist). It is 3 courses in 1 covering all Product Chemistry, Nail Anatomy and Health and Safety presented in a verbal, written and animated way so you will understand and learn everything you need to know. 

It is completely fact-based, interactive and visual with knowledge check points along the way which will ensure you have a full understanding of the subjects. You will also have life time access so you can refer back to the course later if you wish.
