Salon Nail Shapes and Sculpting Course

The Salon Nail Shapes and Sculpting Course is delivered by Celebrity Nail Artist and Brillbird Educator Sarah Evans giving you the most complete introduction to Sculpted nails and provide you with the best tools to start being an Advanced Nail Artist. The course is constantly updated to ensure you receive training on the most recent and innovative nail application techniques. 

We focus everything on you to ensure you leave with the knowledge and skills to becoming a professional nail technician. Our nail courses are designed to ease your nerves, build confidence and get you on the path to a successful career in nails. Becoming a professionally qualified nail technician will allow you to have a job you love and enjoy no matter whether you decide to work in a salon or open your own nail business. 

Course structure

Following the training, you will be required to submit 4 case studies to show that you have retained and practiced the training. Your fully ABT accredited certification will be awarded to you once you have successfully passed those. As any learning experience, you will only get as good as the effort you put in and we will be behind you to help you get the best out of yourself!

Course content

• Form fitting:
  • Understanding how to properly fit nail forms to the natural nail shape.
• Pinching:
  • Techniques for creating a pinched look at the apex of the nail.
• Tailoring forms:
  • Customising nail forms to suit different nail shapes and lengths.
• Perfect C curve:
  • Creating a smooth and symmetrical curve along the nail.
• Smile lines:
  • Mastering the art of creating clean and precise smile lines for French manicures.
• Square:
  • Achieving a classic square nail shape with crisp edges.
• Stiletto:
  • Sculpting pointed nail tips with a sharp and elongated shape.
• Almond:
  • Shaping nails into an elegant almond silhouette with rounded edges.
• Tapered square:
  • Creating a square nail shape with tapered sides for a softer look.

Additional information

All students will be required to work on & bring along a model please ensure all models nails are fully free of product. Models can be provided for a £25 fee. Please let us know when booking if you have a model or not.
