This qualification includes all the required elements to work effectively as a junior beautician/beauty specialist including: removing hair using waxing techniques, applying make-up, eyelash and eyebrow treatments, manicure, pedicure, facial skincare, client care, health and safety and fulfilling salon reception duties.

You will further develop your understanding and skills by selecting a number of optional specialist units which include: tanning techniques, instructing on make-up application, removing hair using sugaring or threading techniques, eyelash perming, ear piercing and nail art techniques – the full list of optional units is presented in the learner Record of Assessment book (RoA) (specification).
