Lash Lift & Tint

You will learn the art of eyelash lifting and tinting. Eyelash perming/lifting is a treatment which creates a fuller look to your natural lashes. Some people don’t like the idea of having eyelash extensions as it can look too full on at times, therefore perming/lifting gives a more natural affect.

Perming/lifting is a semi-permanent method of curling your eyelashes. Curled eyelashes will enhance the appearance of your clients eyes and lasts an average of 4-5 weeks. This is a method of enhancing your eyelashes and your face giving an open eyed look. An eyelash lift gives the lashes a lift from the root using silicone pads whereas an eyelash perm/lift gives the lashes a curled look using sticky rollers. The Eyelash Lift & Tint course entails both techniques of eyelash lift and the perming method.

Course content

• Understand Contra-indications & Contra-actions of the Treatment:
  • Identify factors that may prevent or contraindicate the lash lift and tint procedure.
  • Understand potential adverse reactions or side effects and how to manage them effectively.
• Consult with Client:
  • Conduct thorough consultations to assess client suitability and preferences.
  • Discuss desired outcomes, expectations and any concerns or allergies.
• Patch Testing:
  • Explain the importance of patch testing for allergic reactions.
  • Perform patch tests according to industry standards and guidelines.
• Prepare and Plan for the Treatment:
  • Prepare the treatment area and ensure all necessary tools and products are readily available.
  • Plan the treatment process based on the client's preferences and needs.
• Explanation of Products:
  • Provide information on the products used during the lash lift and tint procedure.
  • Explain the purpose, ingredients and potential effects of each product.
• Procedure & Relaxing of Eyelash Perming:
  • Demonstrate the step-by-step process of eyelash perming, including application techniques.
  • Ensure the client is comfortable throughout the procedure.
• Aftercare Advice:
  • Provide detailed aftercare instructions to maintain the results of the lash lift and tint.
  • Advise on proper maintenance and precautions to prevent damage or premature fading.
• Health and Safety Law:
  • Understand and comply with relevant health and safety regulations in the salon environment.
  • Implement proper sanitation and hygiene practices to ensure client safety.
• Data Protection Act:
  • Safeguard client information and data in accordance with the Data Protection Act.
  • Obtain consent before collecting and processing personal information.
• Professionalism and Code of Ethics:
  • Uphold professionalism in all interactions with clients and colleagues.
  • Adhere to a code of ethics that promotes honesty, integrity and respect.
• Hygiene & Sterilisation Methods:
  • Maintain strict hygiene standards and sterilisation protocols for tools and equipment.
  • Ensure a clean and safe environment to minimise the risk of infection.
