Online Level 4 Award in The Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice

Plush Hair & Beauty Training is proud to be able to offer our online Level 4 Award in The Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice course. The qualification will allow you to conduct internal quality assurance of the assessment process from within a centre or organisation.

The qualification is made up of a combination of units according to IQA job roles. There is a knowledge unit which can be taken whether you are performing the job role or not, and then a performance unit depending upon the specific requirements of your job role.

You will undertake two units :

• Unit 1 will be assessed by assignment, professional discussion and/or oral and written questions
• Unit 2 will be assessed by observation of your performance, professional discussion and/or oral and written questions, along with a review of products and evidence of your work

On completion of the qualification you will develop knowledge and skills in the principles and practices of internal quality assurance.

This qualification comprehensively covers several key areas:

• Understanding the fundamental principles and practices of internal quality assurance, providing a solid foundation for effective assessment processes.
• Planning quality assurance activities including establishing objectives, allocating resources and devising strategies to ensure assessment quality.
• Evaluating the quality of assessments through systematic review and analysis, identifying strengths, weaknesses and areas for improvement.
• Maintaining and enhancing assessment quality through ongoing monitoring, feedback mechanisms and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Managing information related to assessment quality including data collection, analysis and reporting, to inform decision-making and drive improvements.
• Upholding robust and legally compliant quality assurance practices, ensuring adherence to relevant regulations, standards and best practices to safeguard assessment integrity and fairness.
