E File Diploma

This course consists of two qualifications - E File & Russian Manicure E File. You will acquire the expertise to utilise the E File for nail enhancements, including the Russian Manicure E File, enabling you to refine natural nails, cuticles and skin, elevating the overall appearance of manicured hands.

This course is for technicians looking to extend their E File skills and speed up preparation of the natural nail plate and cuticles removing the need for other tools. The service is highly desired due to the crisp, clean results created on natural nails or in preparation for adding enhancements or polish.

Course content

• Introduction, Reception and Consultation:

• Anatomy and Physiology of the Hand and Nails:

  • Understanding common nail conditions and their implications.

  • Identifying conditions that may affect E File treatments.
  • Understanding potential adverse reactions and safety measures.
  • Knowing when to defer or modify treatments based on contraindications.
• Preparation for Treatment:
  • Organising the workstation and ensuring cleanliness.
  • Sanitising tools and equipment for hygiene.
• Preparing the client's hands and nails for treatment.
• Using the E File and Maintenance of the Tool:
  • Demonstrating correct handling and operation of the E File.
  • Explaining the importance of maintaining and cleaning the E File.
  • Ensuring safe and precise use of the E File during treatment.
• Using the E File on Enhancements:
  • Applying E File techniques to refine and shape nail enhancements.
  • Ensuring smooth and even application for a flawless finish.
  • Curing the enhancements under UV or LED lamp according to manufacturer instructions.
• Using the E File on Natural Nails:
  • Using the E File to remove excess cuticle and shape natural nails.
  • Ensuring gentle and precise treatment to avoid damage to the natural nails.
  • Providing a smooth and polished finish to the natural nails.
• Aftercare and Maintenance:
  • Providing clients with aftercare instructions for maintaining nail health.
