This course covers the technique for performing a superficial and deep cleanse, tone, steam, extract, massage, mask and moisturising facial. With this service you can provide tranquillity and calm for your clients, relieving their daily stresses whilst treating their skin to the cleanse and pamper routine it deserves. 

 Course content

• Introduction Reception and Consultation

Here we will look at an initial overview of the Facial Treatment Course, providing you with an introduction to the techniques, tools and skills you will learn throughout the training programme, focusing on facial treatments. You will learn essential communication skills for welcoming clients and conducting thorough consultations and understand how to assess client needs, preferences and any potential contraindications prior to the facial treatment.

• Anatomy and Physiology of the Face, Skin, Muscles and Skeleton

Here we will look into the scientific understanding of facial anatomy and physiology, covering the structure and function of the face, skin layers, facial muscles and underlying skeleton. You will gain insight into how these elements interact and influence facial treatments.

• Contra-indications and Contra-actions

Learn how to recognise conditions or circumstances that may prevent or affect the outcome of facial treatments. They'll also understand how to respond to adverse reactions or complications during or after the procedure.

• Preparation for Treatment

This unit focuses on the preparatory steps required before performing facial treatments, including hygiene practices, client preparation, workstation setup and selecting appropriate products and tools for different skin types and concerns.

• Luxury Spa Facial Methods

You will learn advanced techniques for providing luxurious spa facials, incorporating indulgent treatments such as facial massage, steam, masks and serums to pamper and rejuvenate the skin.

• Mini Facial Methods and Variations of Facial

Building upon the luxury spa techniques, this section covers mini facial methods and variations of facial treatments tailored to meet specific client needs and time constraints. You will learn efficient yet effective techniques for addressing common skin concerns in shorter treatment sessions.

• Aftercare and Maintenance

Finally, you will learn about the importance of post treatment care and maintenance for clients who have undergone facial treatments. They'll understand how to educate clients on proper skincare routines and recommend products to maintain and enhance the results of their facial treatments.
