Full Body Massage

The Full Body Massage Course provides thorough training in various massage techniques aimed at relaxing and rejuvenating the entire body. Our course will enable you to deliver a therapeutic and effective treatment to the front and back of the body using traditional Swedish massage techniques.

Course content

• Introduction, Reception and Consultation:
  • Teaching effective communication skills for client interactions.
  • Managing client expectations and addressing concerns.
• Anatomy and Physiology of the Skin, Muscles and Skeleton:
  • Explaining the structure and function of the skin, muscles and skeleton.
  • Understanding how muscles and bones interact in the body.
  • Discussing the importance of anatomy in massage therapy.
• Contra-indications and Contra-actions:
  • Identifying conditions that may affect massage treatments.
  • Recognising potential adverse reactions and their management.
  • Implementing safety protocols to ensure client well-being.
• Preparation for Treatment:
  • Organising workstations and ensuring cleanliness.
  • Sanitising massage equipment and tools for hygiene.
  • Preparing clients and their skin for massage therapy.
• Massage Technique:
  • Demonstrating various massage techniques, such as effleurage and petrissage.
  • Teaching proper body mechanics and hand positions for effective massage.
  • Providing instruction on adjusting pressure and intensity based on client needs.
• Aftercare and Maintenance:
  • Advising clients on post massage care routines.
  • Providing guidance on maintaining muscle health and relaxation.
  • Addressing any discomfort or concerns that may arise after the massage.
