Galvanic Facial Treatment
The Galvanic Facial course is designed to give you all the skills and knowledge to be able to offer this treatment to clients. It covers desincrustation and iontophoresis and the science behind how these techniques work on the skin to achieve different effects.
Galvanic facial therapy is a safe and effective way to rejuvenate the skin without resorting to surgery or invasive treatments. It provides deep cleansing, better product absorption and improved skin texture, tone and elasticity. By improving skin cell function, it also helps to combat aging and environmental damage.
Desincrustation is a deep cleansing treatment that's effective in preparing oily or congested skin for extractions. It uses alkaline-based products to soften and break down sebum and keratin inside the skin's follicles.
Iontophoresis is a treatment whereby a weak electric current is passed through water. It is thought that this temporarily stops the electrical signals sent by the nervous system to the sweat glands.
