Hopi Ear Candles

The Hopi Ear Candles Course introduces you to the traditional practice of ear candling. You will learn the techniques and safety measures involved in using hollow candles to cleanse the ears and promote relaxation. Through both theoretical knowledge and practical demonstrations, you will gain an understanding of the history, benefits and proper application of Hopi ear candles.

Ear candles are used to treat a number of conditions of the ear, nose and throat. Quite different from conventional candles, a Hopi ear candle is actually a cotton tube, infused with beeswax, honey and therapeutic oils. The warm suction effect is believed to remove ear wax, improve hearing and treat conditions such as sinus infections and colds.

  • Prepare the treatment area and gather necessary equipment.
  • Assess client needs and preferences before beginning the ear candling procedure.
• Safety and Maintenance:
  • Educate participants on safety guidelines and precautions.
  • Demonstrate proper handling and application of ear candles.
  • Provide guidance on maintaining hygiene and cleanliness during and after treatment.
• Technique and Facial Massage:
  • Teach the proper technique for inserting and lighting ear candles.
  • Demonstrate facial massage techniques to enhance relaxation.
  • Explain how facial massage can complement the effects of ear candling.

  • Advise clients on post-treatment selfcare practices.
