Hot Stone Massage

The Hot Stone Massage Course teaches the application of heated stones in massage therapy for relaxation and muscle relief. You will learn techniques to safely and effectively use hot stones to alleviate tension, enhance circulation and promote overall well-being. Through hands-on training and theoretical knowledge, you will develop the skills necessary to offer this deeply soothing and therapeutic massage treatment to clients.

Hot Stone Massage is one of the most popular spa therapy treatments. Using warm volcanic pebbles to massage your clients is a great way to add heat therapy into your treatments and to take the pressure off your thumbs and wrists as a therapist.

  • Organise workstations and ensure cleanliness.
  • Safely heat and prepare the stones for use in massage.
  • Prepare clients for the hot stone massage experience.
• Massage Techniques:
  • Teach various massage techniques using hot stones, such as effleurage and petrissage.
  • Demonstrate proper positioning and pressure for effective massage.
  • Provide guidance on adapting techniques to meet individual client needs.
• Massage Routine:
  • Develop a comprehensive hot stone massage routine from start to finish.
  • Incorporate techniques to address different areas of the body systematically.
  • Ensure a seamless flow of movements to maximise relaxation.
