Manicure

The manicure course allows you to learn all abut the structure of the nails, how the nails grow and much more. This is an excellent treatment to offer as it is a treatment for which clients return every 4 weeks. The desire to have beautiful hands and nails is one many women and men have. Learning how to carry out a manicure is an essential skill for any beauty therapist.

You will cover the technique for performing a basic manicure as well as detailing the steps for a spa manicure, mini manicure and male manicure. Hand and nail diseases are detailed as well as the correct way to carry out a thorough consultation, aftercare advice and product and service knowledge.

  • Implementing safety protocols and precautions.
• Preparation for Treatment:
  • Setting up the manicure station with necessary tools and equipment.
  • Ensuring cleanliness and hygiene standards.
  • Preparing the client's nails and hands for treatment application.
• Luxury Spa Manicure:
  • Providing a relaxing and indulgent manicure experience.
  • Incorporating exfoliation, massage, and hydrating treatments.
  • Enhancing the manicure with luxurious products and techniques.
• Basic Manicure & a Male Manicure:
  • Performing a standard manicure treatment including nail shaping, cuticle care and polish application.
  • Adapting the manicure techniques for male clients, considering differences in nail shape and preferences.
• Aftercare and Maintenance:
  • Educating clients on post treatment care routines.
  • Advising on suitable nail and hand care products for maintenance.
  • Providing guidance on prolonging the effects of the manicure.
