• Anatomy and Physiology of the Skin and Body
  • Understanding the structure and function of the skin and underlying anatomy to assess suitability for treatment.
• Contra-indications and Contra-actions
  • Identifying factors that may prevent or restrict treatment and recognising adverse reactions during or after treatment.
• Preparation for Treatment
  • Preparing the treatment area, ensuring hygiene standards and selecting appropriate tools and products.
• Dermaroller Technique
  • Learning the correct use of a dermaroller device for microneedling procedures on different areas of the skin.
• Dermapen Technique
  • Understanding how to operate a dermapen device, adjusting settings and performing microneedling with precision.
• Aftercare and Maintenance
  • Providing clients with post-treatment instructions, advice on skincare products and scheduling follow up appointments for optimal results and client satisfaction.
