The Waxing Diploma combines the Warm Waxing Course and Intimate Waxing Course, providing you with a comprehensive foundation for entering the Beauty Industry. By mastering both warm waxing techniques, covering body and face as well as intimate waxing styles, you will gain essential skills and knowledge needed to excel in the field of beauty therapy. The structure of the course gives all of our students the best start in their waxing careers with in depth anatomy and physiology as well as contra-indications and contra-actions, aftercare and maintenance guidance. 

Course content

• Introduction, Reception and Consultation:
  • Understanding client expectations and concerns
  • Conducting thorough consultations to determine suitability for waxing
• Anatomy and Physiology of the Hair and Skin 
  • Understanding hair growth cycles and follicle structure
• Contra-indications and Contra-actions:
  • Identifying conditions that may prevent or affect waxing procedures
  • Responding appropriately to adverse reactions or complications
• Preparation for Treatment:
  • Preparing the treatment area and ensuring hygiene standards
  • Communicating with clients about pre treatment care
• Application of Warm Waxing Techniques:
  • Proper preparation of the skin before waxing
  • Application of warm wax using appropriate spatulas
  • Ensuring correct temperature of the wax for safe and effective hair removal
  • Applying wax in the direction of hair growth for optimal results
  • Using fabric or paper strips to remove wax and hair
• Application of Intimate Waxing Techniques:
  • Creating a comfortable and safe environment for the client
  • Proper positioning of the client for access to intimate areas
  • Applying wax with precision and care to sensitive areas
  • Using specialised techniques for different intimate waxing styles, such as Brazilian or Hollywood
  • Ensuring thorough removal of hair while minimising discomfort for the client
• Aftercare and Maintenance:
  • Providing clients with post waxing care instructions
  • Addressing common concerns and promoting skin health
